One of the easiest DIYs ever!

Today's project from Heart Handmade UK is (as my post title describes) one of the easiest DIY's ever! What is it you wonder? Some wonderful homemade button magnets:

Aren't they darling? All you need to do is get some cute buttons (Mom - I know you have hundreds of those) and glue some magnets to the back! Awesome! I however, will not be participating in this project because although our new condo is beyond amazing - it has one flaw. THE FRIDGE IS NOT MAGNETIC. *Gasp!* Okay, not exactly a deal breaker in my books, but it does mean I need to cut back on my magnet making. So looks like everyone is getting these for xmas this year! Haha! What do you think?

  1. Life is hard with stainless steel appliances! I guess it just means you need to make a metal bulletin board to put your magnets on!

  2. I feel that just means that you need a magnetic pin board--then you can have ALL THE MAGNETS still!

  3. I agree with Lindsay and Craftzilla. I will kept my eyes open for a magnetic board for you. It is awful that you don't have a place to leave messages and reminders. Mom

  4. Love the magnets! I think Tonia made me some for Christmas way back in high school. Her mom has an awesome button collection, and they're pretty crafty too. I wonder if the fridge in my new place will be magnetic? I also wondering if you can get magnetic paint, sort of like chalkboard paint? Wouldn't that be awesome!?!?

  5. On my pinterest I have a cookie sheet that somebody used for a metallic surface to make a metal bulletin board.
