Crafty Math

I recently picked up a heart punch in the clearance section of my craft store. I've been trying to get one of these for a while and figured the stars must have aligned because not only did this one jump out at me - but it was on sale! Take a peek:

Add in a roll of pink stickers I got for super cheap at Urban Source a few months ago...

...and voila! Perfect little pink heart stickers for wrapping up my button and magnet orders:

Yay! I'm so thrilled with this punch and I love putting little hearts on the packaging for my orders! I used to use gold star stickers to seal the tissue but the place I got them from has long since stopped carrying them so I've resorted to just using scotch tape (how blah). When I bought the giant roll of pink rectangular stickers I planned on cutting shapes out of them to use in my packaging but that turned out to be much more time consuming and difficult than I had expected. Hooray for heart punch to the rescue! I've also been going a little punch crazy:

Yup. My crafting nook is now covered with loads of little rainbow coloured construction paper heart confetti! I'm hoping to do a fun project with all the cut outs, but with my crafty to do list we'll see how that turns out. For now I'll stick to swooning over the cute pink heart stickers I've been making! What do you think? Do you love packaging as much as I do?

  2. Love it! There's something soooo satisfying about shaped punches and pretty confetti. And stickers, of course.

  3. I love stickers and punches (not the hitting kind). And I think you have the best of both worlds. You have a punch and can make your stickers. Gotta love it.

  5. Do you know if that kind of punch will cut fabric or felt? I'm guessing not felt but hoping at least it would work with some fabric. I'm on a mission to find an easier was to cut felt circles. It takes me forever when I'm making plushies!

Your hearts are super cute! :)
