Some might say I'm a week late to talk about Oh Fortune, Dan Mangan's newest album.
Lets be clear- it is never too late to talk about wonderful Dan.
I can tell you Oh Fortune is amazing. It isn't a sell out, earnest pop, or an elite indie album.
It is an album for baking pie crust with your mom.
It is meant for walking in a new autumn coat with 99 cent gloves and a floral scarf.
It makes you roll up your pants and stand in a stream with your friends?
Kate and I have have seen him once, twice, and thrice. (OK, I didn't see him the first time. Kate did. Same thing though, right?)
I can tell you that Kate will second my motion to buy this album.
