Aquarium style Aquariums

I really enjoy having a fish tank. Even though moving my dear sweet fishies was a bit of a trial (I stuck them in a cooler and traveled with them between my feet), I love having some low maintenance pets around to help make my house a home! Well, my little 10 gallon rectangle has nothing on the amazing non-traditional style aquariums they showcased over on apartment therapy! Just check out these fantastic tanks:


Oh my! Aren't those breath taking? It would be like having some large scale living art in your house! Eugh - but I certainly wouldn't want to be in charge of cleaning them (or scooping out the odd unfortunate dead fish)! Ick! Perhaps sticking to my small scale tank is best for the time being - oh! Or maybe this iMac one:


Hehe! That one is super neat - and a great use for an old computer! Heck, maybe I'll need to get one of those old giant tv's with the huge built in shelf thing and mod it up for a fish home! What do you think? Anyone out there an aquarium owner?

    I used to have a fish tank and it has vanished! Now I wonder where it went? Ha ha I am glad you like it. Mom

    Those are SO AWESOME! I want them ALL! AT THE SAME TIME!!! But seriously, they are beautiful, and I agree that I wouldn't want to have to clean them. They're also slightly super-villain-esque, which makes me wonder if they cost one MEEELION dollars!

    These are beautiful. I currently have a 46 gallon bow-front freshwater aquarium with various rainbow fish. I love it. To be honest, though, I think it is no harder to clean the larger tank I have now compared to the smaller ones I have had in the past. I can't imagine how many finger prints would get on these, though (especially with a curious little three year old running around the home :o).

    I am an aquarium lover who loves to take care of the fishes but at the same time I am very lazy to clean my aquarium. So I recently bought a canister filter and trust me it is helping me a lot by keeping the water of the aquarium clean.
