crafty preparation - part II

Continuing on with my crafty preparation theme of the week (for my upcoming fabulous finds craft sale this weekend) we're onto part II! Let's check out the next new product to add to my table:

Yes - once again using my felt sewing and cutting skills to their full advantage I've come up with some (hopefully quite popular) felt feather earrings! Available in loads of different colour combinations I think these are fun because (list time!):

1) they are crafty and handmade (which is usually what people go for at craft sales)
2) they could appeal to all age groups (depending on the colour choice - and we all like options)
3) everyone likes jewelry (right?)
4) they have those little stoppers on the back to decrease your chances of losing them
and
5) they follow that whole cool feather trend that is going on right now without falling apart a few months after owning them and are just different enough that you could wear them three years from now and won't get any of those unfortunate "she's wearing those feather earrings that were all the rage and out of date now" looks!

Oh! And after reading some helpful craft show tips from etsy, I made some little recycled brown paper earring cards to display them on (since you're apparently supposed to put your website url on every item you sell):

Fun! And if feathers aren't totally your things I have even more designs to chose from:

Okay - so I only have three designs (one of which is the feather)...but I sure like them! And after my preliminary feedback from a few valued close friends I went all out and made a butt load:

Hooray! There are earring sets hiding under that top layer too! Since these were (yet again) very time consuming I think I'm going to sell them as $12/pair or $20 for 2. I figure if they are really a flop I can always change the pricing for saturday too. So - I'm dying to know - what do you think?

  8. Super Cute! I was browsing on Google and saw them and wanted to buy a pair right away! I think
$12 dollars is too cheap. You could easily sell them for $20. Are you selling them in your etsy shop?

  9. p.s. can I actually reserve a pair? I have an etsy shop: Sweet Air. I love the green leaf ones. Hope I can buy a pair. Roseanne Fox
